Position Overview
The VFX Coordinator will work closely with the VFX Producer and Supervisors to ensure that all aspects of VFX production
are completed on time and to the highest standard. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of coordinating VFX projects, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the VFX department, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to the required standard.
Work with the VFX Producer and Supervisors to create and manage project schedules, ensuring that all milestones are met.
Liaise with clients and other departments to ensure that project requirements are understood and met.
Create and manage shot and asset databases, ensuring that they are up to date and accurate.
Coordinate with 2D and 3D to ensure that all necessary elements are delivered to various departments in a timely manner.
Communicate clearly and effectively with the VFX team, clients, and other departments to ensure that everyone is working towards the same goal.
Help to identify areas where process improvements can be made and implement changes where necessary.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a VFX Coordinator role.
Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and the VFX team.
Experience with project management tools such as Shotgun.
A good understanding of VFX pipelines and workflows.
Familiarity with industry-standard software such as Maya, Nuke, and Houdini.
Knowledge of budgeting and cost tracking.
