What we did

As second unit director and one of the second unit camera operators, Christian was responsible for the majority of the stunt work and super 8mm style scenes featuring the Death Cheaters. The dramatic centre piece of the film was a CG Blue Whale. Jonathan worked with Stephan to develop a whale that found the right line between comedy and realism. The film featured over twenty whale shots and ended with a blubbery explosion. Shot on location in the Gold Coast in Queensland Australia. Swinging Safari starred Kylie Minogue and Guy Pierce. Post by Cutting Edge. Released in early 2018.

Synopsis

A teenager comes of age in a small Australian town during the 1970s when a 200-ton blue whale gets washed up on a local beach.
