What we did

Stage23 founder Jonathan Hairman was on-set VFX Supervisor for Warwick Thornton's latest feature "The New Boy." We were also proud to produce the key VFX sequences for the film including a simulated Orb, playful dust motes, a CG bubble on Cate Blanchett's head and a 3D boomerang in flight.

Synopsis

In the 1940s, during the dead of night, a 9-year-old Aboriginal orphan boy arrives at a remote monastery run by a renegade nun.
