Welcome to the team, Jeremy!
Stage23 is proud to welcome Jeremy Howdin as the latest addition to our growing team. Joining the team as VFX Supervisor, Jeremy brings over 20 years experience with him, from companies such as Mighty Nice (Head of Studio/VFX Supervisor), Resolution (Head of 3d/VFX Supervisor) and Animal Logic.
Jeremy has brought projects such as I, Frankenstein, Walking with Dinosaurs, Happy Feet Two and Legend of the Guardians to the big screen.
Jeremy was nominated for “Outstanding Visual Effects” for his work on Farscape at the 57th Emmy Awards in 2005. In 2004, he was awarded a scholarship at the Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE). He has completed a degree in Industrial Product Design at the University of Canberra and a Master Class in Design of Photography at AFTRS, Sydney.
Stage23 co-owner, Christian Debney, is a former colleague of Jeremy’s from Farscape in the early 2000s. “We couldn’t be happier to have talent like Jeremy on our team. He was a mentor to so many of us during Farscape,” says Debney. “We’re gearing up for a big few years, with feature films and TV series running side-by-side, and even some of our own IP in the pipeline. Jeremy will be invaluable. Plus he’s an old friend, which means a lot to us.”
Stage23 is a VFX company based in Fox Studios, Sydney. Founded by Jonathan Hairman and Christian Debney, Stage23 creates top-end 3D and 2D VFX for a host of local and international projects in television and cinema.
